Hello and Happy Halloween!! Hope everyone has a safe and fun evening. I thought I'd do a quick post before everything begins. I know--a Christmas card on Halloween, but you can't start too early for me. I LOVE Christmas! I used Basic Grey for the patterned paper and the poinsettia is prima. Well, hope you have a spooktacular night!!!

SPCC #21
Hello, I thought I'd share the card I did this week for SPCC. The colors were-bravo burgundy, ruby red and creamy caramel. For some reason I COULD NOT get a good picture!! It is very simple, but every time I tried adding something it looked cluttered. I used foam squares to make the middle square and leaf stand out. Thanks for looking.

52sketches...52weeks #43
Good morning, I thought I'd try to post before I have to get to work. Still having a tough time with Sam, (our dog) having separation anxiety, hopefully the vet can help. I never know what I'm coming home to anymore. If anybody has any helpful tips, I'm all ears.
I loved this weeks sketch on 52 sketches ..52 weeks. I've been trying to figure out what to do with these pics of Jade's new retainer. I've had the sassafrass paper for a while now. This just seemed to fit well.
OOh!! I almost forgot, I've been chosen for a RAK from SPCC for world card making day! I'm so excited! I'll have to share my package when it comes. See you later---

Trick or Treat
Another beautiful day here in PA, though I do have a nasty migraine. Hopefully it will be gone soon. I thought I'd share pics of the girls in their costumes. Talia doesn't get to dress up this year for school, but we live only a few blocks from a huge outlet center. They had trick or treating for the kids on Sat. Everyone was just crazy for Talia's costume. She was a Hershey's Kiss and Jade was a Hollywood Starlet. Well, I have lots to do this evening, Dr's appts and sports practices, not to mention dinner! Thanks for looking.

SPCC Christmas Combo #7
Hi! What a beautiful day, on my way home from work I caught the temp and it was 73! Just thought I'd share a card I did for SPCC. I used the snowflake embossing folder from cuttlebug and then used pop dots on the blue paper, the snowflake is acrylic with a dew drop on it. I finished it off by adding stickles to the embossing. Thanks, have a great evening.

SPCC #20
Good morning to all. It's a cool brisk day here in PA, thankfully not raining. I love fall. This weeks color combo at SPCC is perfect for a fall LO or card. I thought I'd share a LO I made showing my youngest picking out mini pumpkins at the orchard. I have to say I didn't come up with the idea of basic tree on my own, but it is fabulous! I saw a woman using the cricuit to make it at a ScrapPink crop last month.I've included a pic to show the dimension of the pop dots also. Thanks for looking.

Happy Friday and SPCC #19
Hello and Happy Friday to all! It's cold and rainy here in PA. We're enjoying just staying home this evening, a good chance to catch up housework. Anyway, I once again participated in this weeks color combo at SPCC. I made this card for a co-workers birthday. I love using those embossing templates from cuttlebug and even better that they work with my sizzix machine. Thanks for looking.

Finally Friday Challenge SPCC
Happy Saturday everyone. We had soccer games bright and early this morning, yes, in the rain, but they did well. Now we just have to see what tomorrow brings, wish us luck!! Now, onto the challenge-- this week for the Finally Friday challenge at SPCC was to use flowers! I absolutely love using flowers, can't get enough! I was needing to make an anniversary card for my mom and step dad, so this was the perfect opportunity. Hopefully she isn't seeing this ahead of time! I just used green card stock, paper from collage press, a fiskars punch and flowers from K and Co. and of course the mini alphas--I'm totally addicted to those! TFL!!

SPCC #18
Happy TGIF to everyone! We have a long weekend here for Columbus Day. I'm looking forward to it. It's pretty dreary here right now, though I'd rather it rain now than tomorrow. Talia plays in a soccer tournament this weekend. We have two games on Sat. and two on Sun. and of course ours is the first game in the morning. (7:30 am), so I'm hoping the rain holds off until afternoon.
So back to card making. This weeks colors for SPCC were not quite navy, soft suede, and dusty durango. I thought I'd make a birthday card since I need one to send to my nephew. Just used card stock a small piece of patterned paper, I inked the edges with brown ink and used pop dots and brads for the happy birthday. Thanks for looking!

WCMD Combo #4
Hello, again- so this is my last post for today! This time I used combo #4. I never would have put these colors together, but it's really growing on me. I used another flower punch from SU. Just a note-If you need any Stampin' Up products or want to play along be sure to check out http://www.thescrapmaster.blogspot.com/ It's a great site!
WCMD Combo #1
Welcome to world card making day! Ok, I know it's a little late, but you have all week to play at SPCC! There are five combos to chose from. I did this card from the first combo of: night of navy, orchid opulence, and garden green. Love this combo together. The stamps are from Stampin' Up and are still in the latest catalog.

SPCC Christmas Combo #4
Happy World Cardmaking Day to everyone! Today I thought I'd share a card I made for SPCC. It's not a combo I'd normally use, but I'm pleased to be challenged to try new ideas. I'll keep it short, we're busy with soccer games and sleep overs here today, not to mention that I'm fighting a losing battle with a sinus infection. Thanks for looking.

SPCC Christmas color combo #3
I've been trying to play along with SPCC Christmas combos as much as I can. I like that it encourages me to make more cards and in plenty of time for the holidays. For this card I used Bazzill cardstock, GCD Studio rub-ons, and Three Bugs In A Rug patterned paper. I have to say that it is my least favorite, you know when you have something in mind and it just doesn't turn out that way?
Sketch #39 and SPCC #17
Well, happy Thursday to everyone. It has definitely turned to fall here in eastern PA, and I have the cold to go with it. Turns out I was able to use one layout for both SPCC and 52 sketches...52 weeks. I love that both these sites are allowing me to use what I currently have. This LO features our dog-Sam. If you know us, then you know the many adventures we have with him.
