Just thought I'd share a couple of birthday cards I made for a couple of ladies I work with. Next is a LO of the day we went to the beach in August, I used all supplies from my stash. Trying to keep up with the class I'm currently taking at Big Picture Scrapbooking, but not doing so well, it's a good thing there's no time limit! Oh, well!

Feeling Inspired
Happy Labor Day! Today I wanted to share a piece I made that was inspired by a sheet of paper my daughter brought home. I don't have any idea who makes it, there is no marking on it, but it's quite cheery and it just called to me.
Also, week one challenges are posted at Challenge Masters http://www.challengemastersonline.com/ Lots of good ideas to start with as well as at Big Picture Scrapbooking. I'm currently taking a class on using your stash, so I'll have to keep you updated on my progress.
Thanks for looking, enjoy your day off!

First day back
Well, we all survived our first day back to school. The girls even found out that some teachers aren't as bad as they had heard. I've tried to instill in them to never judge someone they've never even met, so I hope this is something they'll keep with them.
On a scrappy note, I did this white jewelry box for my daughter. I found the box on clearance at AC Moore and used Basic Grey's Max and Whiskers line to decorate it along with some stickles. This also works for the altered challenge over at Challenge Masters. Gotta go get ready for tomorrow, thanks!

Late Summer Fun
I'm feeling kinda restless tonight, getting ready for the new school year to begin. Right now , it looks like we're all ready to go, which means it's time for me to go back to work. I did have to go in for a few mornings this past week. Luckily we were able to sneak away for the day to Ocean City. We had never been there before, but now we know where everything is and will be sure to go back in the future. It couldn't have been a more beautiful day!
I just registered for an online class to use your stash over at Big Picture Scrapbooking, I can't wait for it to begin, I'll be sure to post my progress as I go. Well, I better go,have a great evening and thanks for looking.

SPCC #58
Hello! I feel like I'm finally getting back into the groove of things. I'm just making the deadline for this weeks SPCC color combo. The colors to be used were crumb cake, soft suede and certainly celery. I dug deep into my stash with this photo of my oldest, it's from five years ago! But, at least it's finally getting done. I could never be on of those people who scrap in chronological order, bless those who can.
So here's my list of supplies: cardstock:American Crafts, ink:StazOn, flowers and leaves:Prima and Webster's pages-bloomers, Punch:Martha Stewart, wood accents:K&Co., flower stamp:Stampin'Up, letters:Thickers, numbers:MyLittleShoebox, and finally I used green Stickles on the butterfly.
We'll I hope you enjoyed it, I have to go finish getting my oldest ready to go to the beach with a friend, I'm sooo jealous! Have a great weekend!

Some new LO's
Hi! Another HOT one here in PA. I had the chance to do some scrapping this past weekend with my fellow Berks County Scrappers! Here are a few layouts that I was able to get done. The first is of the annual Father/Daughter dance at the girls schools, they always have a great time! The paper is K&CO. and the flowers and I believe the letters are Prima. The lace is just from my stash.
The second is of the girls at an Easter egg hunt. An older couple at church hides over 300 eggs every year for the kids to hunt! SO fun! Anyway I can't for the like of me remember who made the paper. The flowers are of course Prima. The little circle ties are dug from old stash and I believe they are colorbok. The twist tie is I Kandee, another oldie but goodie. I had gone through a bunch of stuff hoping to sell at our crop, but things didn't go so well as far as that, sooooo maybe another time. Anyway I hope you enjoyed looking. I'm getting ready to go to CKC with my croppin' buddies on Friday! Can't wait!!!

Busy week
Hello, just thought I'd take a few minutes and update you on our happenings here in sunny very hot eastern pa! I can't complain though, it's better than snow any day. I have a lot going on this week. The girls are going to day camp all week, I have a VBS meeting, a haircut, Jade's 10th birthday, and birthday sleepover, along with our local scrap groups summer crop with yard sale and our church picnic. So, by next week I think I'll just be ready to hit the pool. I am excited about getting to crop and hopefully pass on some older and unused scrap items. I thought I'd share a page I did for the color challenge over at Challenge Masters. http://www.challengemastersonline.com/ The colors to be used were: Lime green, purple, orange and aqua. I couldn't believe that I had just bought a paper by Bo-Bunny with those colors in it, along with Karen Foster stickers. I love the dimension of them. I also added a little more glitz with Stickles. The pictures of of the girls going down the slide at a very nice pool we get to go to when we head back to western pa. I don't usually put so many pictures on a page, but in this case I just had to. Something different for me. Hope your having a great summer!

I'm B..A...C...K!
Wow, sorry for the long break there, first the computer died and then I just haven't been able to even get into my scrap space. I have two cards to share, nothing special. One is for a new neighbor. I used a cuttlebug embossing template, a doily, a bird stamp form Hero Arts, and some brown fibers. The next is just a simple white embossed card that is from a great deal I got on sale. I used blue chalk on the embossing, the cut out is from a sheet of Fancy Pants paper with a bird sticker I got in the dollar spot of Michaels, and the friend sticker is from Cosmo Cricket that I just bought on a scrap shopping trip with the girls! (Thanks Deanette and Bev)
Well, that's it for now, I'll be starting more challenges again soon, hopefully using some the new goodies I bought!

Challenge masters-Happy "bird-day"
Hello!, just dropping by with a challenge for the card challenge at Challenge Masters. It had to be an unusual shape. Basically anything other than rectangle, and be a birthday card. So here's what I came up with. The paper is DCWV, stickers are Making Memories, the branch is K & Co. and the 3-D bird embellishment is from Jolees. I just fell in love with the bird, and thought that this would be a cute way to use it.
Speaking of Challenge Masters, they have a new home! Visit http://www.challengemastersonline.com/ to find lots of challenges and inspiring work.
Thanks for looking, I'll be back soon with the LO I did for the color challenge.

Father - Daughter Dance
Just thought I'd share a pic of my husband and girls last night. Our borough has a Father/Daughter dance once a year. They always have a blast and it gives me a few hours all to myself! I used some $ that I received for Mothers Day and treated myself to a pedicure! Very relaxing. Speaking of Mothers Day, I hope you all have a great day. We have church and soccer, but other than that, I think I'll sneak in a nap! Hope you have a good one!

Spring has sprung!
Oh! My, have I been a bad blogger. Sorry about that, I had no idea that so much time had lapsed. We've been busy with family business here. My oldest daughter had her heart surgery (very successfully) though, she's now having severe migraines, so wish us luck with that, and my dear sister-in-law has lost her battle with cancer. So we're hoping to be moving on to better times here.
I thought I'd share a picture of some of the flowers out the front of our house. Hopefully the warmer weather is here to stay. I'll be back later this week with some things I've done for CHALLENGE MASTERS.
Thanks for looking, .....Hugs,
Brigitte

Challenge Masters Color Challenge
Happy Friday everyone! We're having yet another snow day here. My girls are mad because I won't let them go sledding, one has pneumonia and the other a cold. What's a mom to do? At least they can still play with the neighbor girl, and I can work on scrappy stuff.
I wanted to share a card I made for the color group challenge over at Challenge Masters http://www.challengemasters.ning.com/ It's a great site, lots to take part in. Our colors to use for this particular challenge were fire, blush, chocolate, and vanilla. They were taken from a beautiful picture in a Pottery Barn catalog.
Supplies I used were: card stock-Bazzill, patterned paper-Imaginisce (polka dots and stripes), The sentiment sticker is from K & Company, leaf and bling -Prima, and Stickles. I also used some ink on the crinkled brown circle and the rim of the card.
Thanks for looking, off to clean the fish tank(blah!!) and hopefully make some more cards to send out. Have a great day enjoying whatever weather your having.

Page maps challenge
Hello, and happy Monday morning to you! It's sunny here today, we're supposed to get rain/snow later, so I'll enjoy the sun for now. Today I'd like to share a LO I did for Page Maps. www.pagemaps.com/blog.php Every month they send out fantastic sketches to play along with. This month the prize is given from Scrapdango. You can check them out here --http://www.scrapdango.com/ A very nice place with great kits. My LO is 8 1/2 x 11, which I don't normally do, but I enjoyed a change. The pics are of my daughters in my nieces wedding. The papers are from GCD Studios, ATD Story of Us.I know you can't tell, but they are pearlized-very pretty. The bird I cut out using my Slice, still loving it! The alpha stickers are foam, by Thickers--of course. The flower is Prima, journal paper is Making Memories and I used Stickles for the birds eye. I can't for the life of me remember who makes the background card stock- the black that is glossy embossed, if you know, maybe you could remind me. Well, I better run, gotta walk the dog and get to work. Thanks for looking, have a great day!

Valentine's project
One more day! The kids are itching to know what they're getting. We always do something little, this year they are each getting a book. I still need to make a card for them, I guess I better get on that! I thought I'd show a small project I did. I used 8 x 8 paper, then used the heart punch by fiskars for the border on the black. I don't know the manufacturers, it's paper I've had around for a long time. Then I used my slice to make a bunch of 1 inch hearts, which I crinkled with a pencil before attaching to the scalloped heart -also done on the slice. Lastly I added a small Prima flower and pearls. I got the inspiration from a woman named Sue, check her blog on the right-it's called of photos and paper. She is superbly talented! Mine's a little different than hers, but I'm pleased with the end results. Well, I better get going , housework needs to get done today. Thanks for looking.

Whoa! That's alot of snow!!
We've gotten 42 inches of snow in the last five days! The kids( and the dog) are having a wonderful time, as far as me and my hubby go, not as much. Lots of shoveling! But it was a beautiful site.I felt like we awoke to a land of marshmallow fluff! As you can imagine there has been no school. The girls were disappointed that it was cancelled again today, because they miss their Valentines party. Hopefully they can have it on Tuesday. I hope so too, I made treats for the teachers and bus driver. That's what the first pic is. The rest are obvious, snow!!!Thanks for looking, I'll be back with challenges I did for Page Maps and Challenge Masters.See you then!

Valentine Cards
Happy Super Bowl Sunday! Do you all have plans for tonight? We have a party at our church where we all bring our lawn chairs and watch it on the big screen. First we have soup, hot dogs and grilled cheese along with a potluck of snacks. We use a canned good offering as admission to support our local food bank. We're looking forward to it.
Since Valentine's Day is just around the corner, I thought I'd share two cards. The first is one I made with some scraps of American Crafts paper and Bazzill. I used my Slice to cut out the heart and then put an American Crafts chipboard heart on top. Very simple, but I like the colors.
The second is just Bazzill, that was embossed with a Cuttlebug template and inked. Then I cut out hearts from the same American Crafts patterned paper as the first and made a flower. I topped it off with some bling, a ribbon stem and a Prima leaf. Well, I still have to make my praline dip for tonight, so I better get going! Thanks for looking.

You Did It!!!
Good afternoon, Today I thought I'd share a LO I did showing my daughter on her bike. I did actually spend some time cleaning up my scrap room, amazing what you come across. I made a deal with myself to use up a lot more of what I already have. For this LO I used a kit I have from 3Birds. It's a great company usually featured on HSN. All products are from the kit except the lace and journaling spot.
I did find out that I may be receiving a Slice in the near future!!! I never really looked at these types of things simply because I know they aren't in the budget at this point. So I'm very excited to see if it will work out or not! I've also been asked to lead a Middle School Ministries at our church as well as do a few bulletin boards for our Womens Sunday School class, so I think the Slice would be great for doing the boards. Wish me luck! Thanks for looking.

Hapy Birthday....
Happy Thursday, this week has really been flying by. Seems that lately we have had something going on everyday and evening, but I guess that's just the stage of life we're in right now. I'm sure someday I'll miss it. Anyway, enough rambling. We had my youngest daughter at the cardiologist yesterday. Looks like she too has a few issues, but luckily nothing as serious as my oldest. So for now we just go with the flow, more testing to be done. Just have to trust in God that we are right where he wants us right now.
So on a brighter note, I thought I'd share a pic of some forever flowers that I made for my boss for her 50th birthday. She's a super sweet person, and we all went together for gifts and goodies. I also did a little card with some stamping, fabric and three dimensional hearts. Well, thanks for looking, I am lucky enough to have today off, so I'm hoping to find some time to clean out my scrap space-such a mess!

Happy New Year !
Wow! It's hard to believe how long it's been since I last posted. I must apologize for being away so long. I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year. Santa was VERY good to me. Before Christmas, my husband and I celebrated our 15th anniversary. He got me a beautiful diamond cross necklace, I had been wanting something I could wear everyday. Then, we got a wonderful new NikonD5000 digital SLR with multiple lenses and case. WhooHooo!!! Now I just need to figure out how to use it!! LOL Anyway enough jibberish, I thought I'd share a few LO's that I made on Sat. at our local scrappers Christmas party. Those women are just the best! The first LO is one about our dog, just loved this pic of him, and the second is of the girls decorating the tree. I actually scraplifted the idea from Rachael Hall-she is sooooo talented. You can find her work at A Million Memories. That's all for now, I'll be back soon, thanks for looking!
