You Did It!!!

Good afternoon, Today I thought I'd share a LO I did showing my daughter on her bike. I did actually spend some time cleaning up my scrap room, amazing what you come across. I made a deal with myself to use up a lot more of what I already have. For this LO I used a kit I have from 3Birds. It's a great company usually featured on HSN. All products are from the kit except the lace and journaling spot.

I did find out that I may be receiving a Slice in the near future!!! I never really looked at these types of things simply because I know they aren't in the budget at this point. So I'm very excited to see if it will work out or not! I've also been asked to lead a Middle School Ministries at our church as well as do a few bulletin boards for our Womens Sunday School class, so I think the Slice would be great for doing the boards. Wish me luck! Thanks for looking.

Hapy Birthday....

Happy Thursday, this week has really been flying by. Seems that lately we have had something going on everyday and evening, but I guess that's just the stage of life we're in right now. I'm sure someday I'll miss it. Anyway, enough rambling. We had my youngest daughter at the cardiologist yesterday. Looks like she too has a few issues, but luckily nothing as serious as my oldest. So for now we just go with the flow, more testing to be done. Just have to trust in God that we are right where he wants us right now.

So on a brighter note, I thought I'd share a pic of some forever flowers that I made for my boss for her 50th birthday. She's a super sweet person, and we all went together for gifts and goodies. I also did a little card with some stamping, fabric and three dimensional hearts. Well, thanks for looking, I am lucky enough to have today off, so I'm hoping to find some time to clean out my scrap space-such a mess!

Happy New Year !

Wow! It's hard to believe how long it's been since I last posted. I must apologize for being away so long. I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year. Santa was VERY good to me. Before Christmas, my husband and I celebrated our 15th anniversary. He got me a beautiful diamond cross necklace, I had been wanting something I could wear everyday. Then, we got a wonderful new NikonD5000 digital SLR with multiple lenses and case. WhooHooo!!! Now I just need to figure out how to use it!! LOL Anyway enough jibberish, I thought I'd share a few LO's that I made on Sat. at our local scrappers Christmas party. Those women are just the best! The first LO is one about our dog, just loved this pic of him, and the second is of the girls decorating the tree. I actually scraplifted the idea from Rachael Hall-she is sooooo talented. You can find her work at A Million Memories. That's all for now, I'll be back soon, thanks for looking!

Christmas gifts

What a snowy Saturday we are having, we are now in the 8-13 inch range. So glad we don't need to go out today, can't wait to get some great pics! Just thought I'd share a pic of a Christmas card I made for my co-workers. I made several different versions, but I forgot and sealed all of the envelopes! So this is the only one I could show. Then I made journals for all of the women in my Sunday School class. I promised myself that I'd use what I had, so that is why they are all different. I like some better than others, but overall I'm pleased with how they turned out, the great thing about making gifts for people who don't scrap is that they don't care if your paper is one day old or two years old. Well, I better go finish up some house cleaning so we can play in the snow! Thanks for looking

Avon and SPCC

Well, TGIF! So glad the weekend is here, and only one week until the big day! I plan on making some chocolate chips and some peanut butter fudge tonight. Yum! We're expecting some snow here this weekend, I made sure to stop and get some new snow boots for the girls. Luckily they weren't too hard to find.

Anyway, I thought I'd share a card I made for this weeks challenge at SPCC. The colors are pumpkin pie, bordering blue, and always artichoke. I haven't been able to do much with this lately, so I was glad to get the chance.

Also I don't want to forget to tell you that I'm officially selling AVON again. I used to sell it years ago, and I thought it might be a way to earn a few extra bucks with products I use. So now I need all of you to check it out! You can order online 24/7 at www.youravon.com/brigittekowalski

Thanks for looking!

A busy December

Wow! Can't believe it's been so long since I've posted. Sorry, time just seems to be flying by. I don't really have much scrappy stuff to share. I've made a few things, but I'll have to get the pics taken and loaded later this week. Just thought I'd hare a few pics from the girls plays and musicals.

Teachers Gifts

Hi, hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! We had a nice day, quiet, just the four of us. We didn't head back to Pittsburgh because the girls were in the church play on Sunday and they had dress rehearsal Friday and Sat. All of their hard work paid off, it was a fantastic night, and everyone did wonderfully.

I haven't had time to work on any challenges, I've been busy making projects for Christmas gifts. I made these two for my girls teachers, I only wish that I'd been able to get another apple. I love that. I decorated it the whole way around so that it can sit on her desk. Well, I'll be back later this week . I am getting to go to a crop on Sat., so hopefully I can get more accomplished there. I also have a few more items ready, but I'm a little short on time now. Thanks for looking. Have a great evening.
