In Your Eyes

Here's another page that I got done this past weekend at ScrapPink. I used Fancy Pants and Collage Press papers, with a strip of decorative edge Bazzill and a Maya Road journaling tag, the title is Thickers(of course). I'm really liking that size of font for LOs. I haven't been able to figure out what to do with some of the pics that Talia took at her digital photography class this summer, but I think this did it. I have another LO for next time of more pics she took. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to her camera and photoshop.

SPCC #16

While at ScrapPink I also had the chance to complete this LO for SPCC #16. We had the opportunity to go to the Renaissance Faire over Labor Day weekend. It was childrens weekend, so they had a few extra things just for the kids. My girls absolutely loved it. They didn't remember being there when they were younger, but they can't wait to go back again.

SPCC Christmas Combo #2

I had the chance to go to a fantastic event sponsored by Scraptacular (my LSS) for breast cancer. It was called ScrapPink. I had a great time with all of the ladies and completed 6 layouts and 2 cards. These are my two for the Christmas color combo over at SPCC. Thanks for looking.

Sketch #38

Well, I had good intentions of posting before now, but life just gets in the way sometimes. So here's my LO for this weeks sketch at 52 sketches...52 weeks

SPCC #15

Here's my take on this weeks color combo over at SPCC. At first, I wasn't sure what I'd do with the colors-we're not really big on Halloween here, but I'm really liking how it turned out! Hope you think so too. Thanks for looking.

Sketch #37---52 sketches...52 weeks

Well, we've made it to Wednesday. I absolutely loved the sketch for this weeks challege at 52 sketches..52 weeks. It seemed to fit perfectly with the photo I wanted to use. My girls were just in my nieces wedding this past weekend. Everything was just so beautiful. I could post pictures for a week, but I won't put you through that. I know that everyone thinks their kids are the most beautiful. So here's my take on this weeks sketch. Thanks for looking.

Happy Tuesday...

Just thought I'd share a card I made today. We were away for my nieces wedding and I'm still trying to get caught up. Last load of laundry is in now. Thank goodness! Anyway, I made this for an occasion I forgot about. (oops!!!) It's going to be from my girls. I just love this alien/monster paper. It's so cute. I had bought a few sheets of it to do a LO with my girls and one of their friends showcasing some little stuffed animals, and I'm glad that I've found a way to use some more of it. Thanks for looking, I'll be back more this week with a few challenge LO's.

Sisterhood of Scrap Challenge

Wow! I made all three that I wanted to get done this week. I had originally wanted to do four, but I'll settle for three. Anyway, this LO is for SISTERHOOD OF SCRAP. It was to include 3 brads or eyelets, a dash of striped paper and a sprinkle of glitter. This is the first time I'm partcipating there, I've followed them for quite a while and I've finally had a chance to join in. Check the link at right- they're a great bunch of ladies. Thanks for looking!

52 Sketches 52 Weeks #36

Here's the layout I did for 52 Sketches 52 Weeks. For some reason I was unable to post the sketch so you can see it by going to the link at the right. Two of three challenges down, one to go.

SPCC Challenge

Well,it's that time again and I actually got the challenge done this week! Sometimes I think I need more deadlines to actually get more done. I am currently packing to go to my nieces wedding on Friday. Both of my girls are in it. But, I really wanted to try and get a few challenges done before we leave. So here is my interpretation of the color combos for this week at SPCC. Just a quick card, I'm glad that this site is helping me to overcome my card making slump. Thanks for looking.

I forgot!!

I actually do have a few layouts to share,I forgot that I had submitted these for a contest(that I didn't win-oh well- maybe next time). The first is of my youngest at her pool party-9th b-day.The second is of my oldest overcoming her fear of diving and the third is a wall hanging I made for my hubby's cousin. I used an embroidery hoop with Lil Sprouts paper and ribbon and such. It's super cute in person, I also painted the hoop to match. That's all for now, thanks for looking.

Where has time gone?

Whew! Hard to believe that another week has already past. The first week of school went well. Talia likes her new school and Jade loves her teacher. For me, it's been crazy- the cafe was totally remodeled and it's gonna take a few weeks to get straightened out. We served 400 people in 11 minutes!!! That was just one lunch! Needless to say I didn't get any of the challenges done I had planned on for this week. But, you should still check out the sites for SPCC and 52 sketches...52 Weeks. They are always so inspiring.Hopefully I can get something done this week, but I'm not making any promises. We head back to Pittsburgh for my nieces wedding next weekend and both of my girls are in it. Can't wait to show pics. On another note, we had a very nice day at the Renaissance Faire today-the girls loved it. So I leave you with a pic form the first day of school and the Ren. Faire.
